This policy was written in English (US). To the extent any translated version of this policy conflicts with the English version, the English version controls.

  1. Services Provided.

By installing, accessing, or using our apps, services, features, software, or website (together, “Services”) or by otherwise interacting with our Services, brands or products, you hereby acknowledge and agree to all of the terms and conditions of this Number Sentry Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service Agreement (the ‘Agreement’), and any other policies found on the Number Sentry website, all of which are incorporated herein by reference. If you choose to not agree with any of these policies, terms and conditions, you may not use the Services.

  1. Jurisdiction

Number Sentry (collectively “Number Sentry, LLC”, “our,” “we,” or “us,”) is solely controlled and offered by Number Sentry , LLC. This Privacy Policy shall be construed and enforced according to the laws of the State of Georgia, United States of America. If you are using the Services from the European Union, the United Kingdom, Asia, South America, or any other region with laws or regulations governing the collection, usage or disclosure of personal data which differs from the laws of the United States, you are hereby advised that your use of the Services, which are governed by the laws of the United States and our Number Sentry agreements and policies, you may be transmitting your personal information to countries where the laws regarding processing personal information may be less stringent than those of your country and you hereby consent to such processing and the transmission of your personal information.

  1. Notice of Changes

Number Sentry may, in its sole discretion, modify or revise this Privacy Policy at any time with or without notice. Any such modifications will be effective as soon as the updated Privacy Policy is posted on Number Sentry’s website at www.NumberSentry.com. At that time, the updated Privacy Policy will effectively replace all original and previous Privacy Policies and you shall be deemed to have been notified of the updated Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Services after such updates will be deemed acceptance thereof and you agree to be bound by all modifications or revisions. Although Number Sentry may attempt to notify you when major changes are made to this Privacy Policy, we have no obligation to do so. You are responsible for periodically reviewing any changes which may be made to this Privacy Policy. However, we will not use your Personal Information in a way that is materially different than the uses described in this Privacy Policy without giving you an opportunity to opt-out of such changes.

  1. Business Transfers

All of our rights and obligations under this Privacy Policy are freely assignable by Number Sentry to any person or entity. We may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of the Number Sentry assets, including your Personal Information and User Content, in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, reorganization, transfer or sale of assets or other change of control, in the event of bankruptcy, by operation of law, or otherwise as deemed by Number Sentry management. In the event of such a transaction, we will post a notice on our website and we will require the assignee to commit to a similar level of protection of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy. If the assignee’s planned use of your Personal Information and User Content differs materially from that set forth in this Privacy Policy, you will have an opportunity to opt out of any such transfer.

  1. Personal & Company Information

Number Sentry receives or collects information as we provide our Services. This information can include both Personal and Company Information that we obtain when you install, access, or use our Services. Personal Information means information about you that is personally identifiable, like your name, address, e-mail address, billing information, or phone number, as well as other non-public information that may be used to readily identify, contact, or locate you. Company Information means information identifying information about your company, it’s management and telephone numbers and other telecommunications assets provided by you during your registration or use of the Services.

Anonymous Information means information that is not personally identifiable and thus does not enable the ready identification of individuals or companies in normal use. It may include information such as aggregated information, general demographic information and IP addresses. You hereby confirm that we may share or disclose Anonymous Information.

  1. Minimum Age

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from any person under the age of 18. If you are at least 18 years old, but you are not old enough to have authority to agree to our Terms of Service in your country, your legal parent or guardian must agree to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy on your behalf.

  1. Modifying Your Personal or Company Information

As a user of the Services, we provide you with tools to access or modify certain Personal or Company Information in the Account tab of the Service portal.

  1. Purchase Information

Some of our Services are available for purchase. If you choose to purchase any of our Services, Number Sentry may obtain information, confirmations, payment receipts, and similar information from third parties involved in the processing of your payment.

  1. Analytics Collection

We do not (and will not allow any third-party to) use statistical analytics tools to track or to collect any Personal or Company Information of our users. However, Number Sentry does use analytical tools as well as users’ logfile information to help us track user behavior. This information (including but not limited to: telephone numbers, IP address, data storage, maintenance services, database management, web analytics and information processing) helps us analyze and evaluate how the Service is used as part of our ongoing efforts to improve our Services. This type of reporting includes no personally identifying information.

  1. Use of Cookies, Web Beacons and other Automatically Collected Data

Number Sentry may uses “cookies”, “web beacons” and similar technologies to distinguish you from other visitors, to track your IP address, to understand your usage of our Services, to identify the site from which you linked to us, as well as for other purposes. This information is used by us, and our third-party partners, to improve our website and portal design, as well as our Services, and for marketing purposes. Information obtained through cookies and web beacons may be shared with or obtained by service providers on our behalf. We may combine this information with personally identifiable information you have given to us to better understand how our Services are used. However, we will not disclose any such personally identifiable information to our third-party partners. We do not collect personally identifiable information regarding your online activities over time or across third-party websites.

  1. Information Usage

We use information to operate, maintain, develop, tune, enhance, understand, market and to improve our Services as well as to develop new products. We may also collect service-related, diagnostic, and performance information to help us improve the Services. Number Sentry and our third-party service providers may also use information collected from the Service, your use of the Service and from the Services themselves to target and manage our marketing efforts as described in this section.

  1. Number Sentry Contact

Number Sentry reserves the right to deliver messages to you via the Services and to deliver SMS text messages, emails and other telecommunications to you for the purposes of sharing essential service related information such as password resets, billing and account information, service and policy updates and to respond to support and other inquiries from you. We may also provide product or service updates about the latest enhancements, deprecations and features of the Services, tips and best practices to help you make the most of our Services, optional surveys to help us improve our Services and our understanding of our Services as well as occasional promotional offers and discounts.

Subject to applicable laws, you agree that your entry of your telephone number in the Sign-Up process shall serve as your express, written consent to receive such messages whether by the Service, by email, SMS or by other means, including messages regarding (i) our Services and the goods and services of our affiliates and partners; and (ii) similar third-party messages that we deem may be relevant to you.

  1. Retention

Number Sentry may retain your Personal and Company Information even after you have closed your account if such retention is considered in, our sole discretion, reasonably necessary to a.) comply with our legal obligations; b.) meet regulatory requirements; c.) resolve disputes between users; d.) prevent or deter fraud and abuse; e.) or to enforce this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service. Number Sentry may also retain your Personal and Company Information if requested by law enforcement as described herein.

Additionally, Number Sentry’s Customer Service may retain certain information for as long as necessary to provide support to users. However, we will delete your contacts data from our servers as described herein.

  1. Safeguards

Number Sentry is very concerned about safeguarding your personally identifiable and company information. Once we receive your transmission of Personal or Company Information, we take steps to protect it from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We use commercially reasonable procedural safeguards, electronic measures and technical safeguards to protect your data. However, you should be aware that no Internet-based transmission or method of electronic storage, is ever completely secure and your use of the Services is at your own risk. For these reasons, we cannot warrant the security of any information you provide to us.

  1. Third-Party Policy

We do not rent, sell, or share any Personal or Company Information about our users to third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.

  1. Service Providers

When necessary, we do share personally identifiable and company information with certain trusted service providers, affiliates or agents who work on our behalf and who have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy. Examples of such service providers may include, but is not limited to: banking organizations or other providers of payment and analytical services, customer support, hosting services, text message gateway providers, entities that distribute our Services, provide our infrastructure, delivery, and other systems and others who help us understand how people use our Services, and who may market our Services.

We may also disclose your Personal and/or Company Information, (and you authorize us to disclose such information by your use of the Services) if in our sole discretion it is our good faith belief that such a disclosure is necessary to:

  2. Support law enforcement inquiries in connection with investigations of potential fraud, intellectual property infringement, or other activities that may be illegal or expose you, or us to potential liability

The Services may contain links to other destinations that enable access to third-party, non-Number Sentry affiliated services, technologies, apps or websites (collectively “Third-Party Sites”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to any data that may be obtained or used by such Third-Party Sites. We encourage you to read and become familiar with the terms and policies of such Third-Party Sites. We do not have control over Third-Party Sites and such Third-Party Sites may follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the personally identifiable information that you provide them. Number Sentry is not responsible or in any way liable for the actions of any Third-Party Site. This Privacy Policy applies solely to Personal Information that is acquired through your use of our Service, and/or your relationship with us.
